Job summary

Position Overview

Department/Unit: Medicine – Aids Program. Work Shift: Day (United States of America). Salary Range: $46,947.00 – $65,726.00. The Training Assistant supports programmatic operations of the Education Unit within the Division of HIV Medicine, scheduling educational in‑services, conferences, and webinars. They assist the Education Senior Program Coordinator and the Education Administrative Coordinator, and are responsible for data entry and reporting to our AIDS Education & Training Center (AETC) grant. They also document and accredit these events, which target medical and community‑based providers. The assistant actively participates in needs assessment, proofing and editing presentations (including PowerPoint slide sets), and provides technical support to deliver HIV education (distance‑based and in‑person). The role requires detail orientation, excellent customer service, communication skills, and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications and Ideal Characteristics
  • High school diploma or equivalent and 3–5 years’ experience.
  • Proficiency with computer/software applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi‑task and prioritize.
