Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Learning & Development, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business, Education, or related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
  • 4+ years of experience in learning and development, workforce development, organizational development, performance improvement, or related field; manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Experience using KPIs, assessments, dashboards, or other quantitative measures to evaluate training and development effectiveness and demonstrate business impact.
  • Strong analytical, facilitation, and presentation skills with the ability to translate workforce and performance data into actionable recommendations for hourly employees, supervisors, managers, and salaried professionals.
  • Ability to take ownership, challenge assumptions, provide candid feedback, manage multiple priorities, and drive initiatives through completion with limited direction; proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel required, with Power BI experience a plus.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. This position will require an export license from the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security, and/or the Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. Issuance of any required license is a prerequisite for this position. The candidate must be able to work with export-controlled technology in accordance with US export control law.

  • Establish measurable objectives, baseline data, KPIs, and success criteria for key development initiatives and track progress against targets.
  • Measure training effectiveness beyond attendance and satisfaction by evaluating knowledge gained, application on the job, behavioral change, and relevant performance results.
  • Proactively identify development needs, determine whether training or another intervention is required, and recommend solutions without waiting for direction.
  • Partner with leaders and stakeholders to drive accountability, constructively challenge assumptions, and continuously improve workforce development programs based on results.

A Snapshot of Your Day

In this role, you will strengthen workforce capability across the Gibsonton site by identifying skill and performance gaps, developing targeted learning solutions, and measuring whether those solutions produce meaningful results. This is more than a training delivery role. You will partner with leaders to assess business and workforce needs, establish measurable objectives and KPIs, implement development programs, evaluate effectiveness, and continuously improve results. The role supports hourly and salaried employees through leadership development, Lean and continuous improvement, change management, conflict management, professional skills, data-driven decision making, Microsoft applications, onboarding, and other workforce development initiatives. Success requires someone who takes ownership, proactively identifies opportunities, constructively challenges assumptions, and drives solutions without waiting for direction.

What you Bring
