The Senior Corporate Trainer plans, builds and leads training for EASE Logistics. A core part of this role is teaching: running in-person and virtual classes on onboarding, EASE's systems and proprietary AI tools, and professional development. The Trainer also owns EASE's learning and development strategy and turns our processes, technology and culture into practical programs that get people productive faster and improve performance. As a functional leader with no direct reports, this role partners with department leaders and subject matter experts to strengthen workforce capability across the organization.
Learning Strategy and Workforce Planning
- Owns and drives the organization’s learning and development strategy, aligning onboarding, upskilling, reskilling, and professional development initiatives with business priorities, workforce needs, and organizational goals.
- Partners with department leaders to identify skill gaps, define role-specific competencies and performance benchmarks, and prioritize learning needs.
- Translates business priorities into training plans, learning paths, and calendars that support current roles and future workforce capabilities.
Onboarding and Employee Development
- Leads the design, coordination, and execution of company-wide onboarding, training, upskilling, and reskilling initiatives.
- Builds consistent onboarding programs with role-specific learning objectives, assessments, and proficiency milestones in partnership with hiring managers.
- Develops ongoing learning programs, including professional and leadership development, and supports compliance training in partnership with the appropriate department owners.
- Embeds EASE’s values, culture, and standards for performance, accountability, and teamwork into learning programs.
Instructional Design and Training Delivery
- Develops and maintains training curricula, presentations, guides, job aids, e-learning modules, and assessments using adult learning principles.
- Facilitates engaging in-person and virtual training across departments, including systems, processes, and interpersonal skills.
- Works alongside sales and operations teams to observe workflows and translate real work into practical training.
- Equips managers and subject matter experts to deliver consistent training, coach employees, and reinforce learning on the job.
Technology Adoption and Reskilling
- Trains employees on EASE’s proprietary AI tools and other business systems, supporting adoption and effective use.
- Leads reskilling initiatives as technology, automation, processes, and role requirements evolve.
- Partners with Technology and business leaders to incorporate system changes into training content and evaluate employee readiness.
Learning Operations and Program Administration
- Owns and maintains the Learning Management System, including content organization, learning assignments, participation tracking, completion records, and reporting.
- Maintains accurate and current learning materials and records in coordination with process owners.
Measurement and Continuous Improvement
- Accountable for defining, tracking, and reporting time-to-proficiency, training effectiveness, skills-gap identification, manager enablement, and improvements in workforce capability; partners with department leaders to achieve agreed learning and performance outcomes.
- Measures learning effectiveness through assessments, role-specific performance metrics, quality trends, retention trends, and employee and manager feedback.
- Recommends and implements program improvements based on employee performance, business outcomes, and organizational priorities.
- Stays current on industry trends, adult learning practices, and emerging learning technologies.
Leadership and Supervisory Responsibilities
- Has no direct supervisory responsibility and serves as a functional leader for learning and development across the organization.
- Provides leadership and guidance to managers and subject matter experts in identifying training needs, developing learning content, and reinforcing employee development.
- Partners with leaders to build development plans that support business needs and future workforce capabilities.
- Serves as a coach and resource to employees and leaders on learning, development, and career growth.
- Establishes training standards and agreed expectations for participation, completion, and effectiveness; monitors progress and works with department leaders to address gaps.
- Leads cross-functional learning initiatives and may coordinate or direct program-related work of employees, trainers, vendors, and subject matter experts.

The physical environment requires the employee to work in an open office setting with regulated temperatures, where many people are on the phone for long periods. Regular time is spent alongside sales and operations teams and in training rooms to observe workflows and facilitate sessions.

- Sitting or standing at a desk, typing, looking at multiple computer screens, and responding to inbound/outbound phone calls, emails, and instant messages throughout the day.
- Standing and presenting for extended periods while facilitating training sessions.
- Occasionally may need to bend, stand, or lift up to 25 lbs.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
- This position is full-time. Employees typically work Monday-Friday, typical working hours (with an hour lunch), 40+ hours per week, as business demands.
- This role is expected to work outside of typical business hours as business needs dictate.
- This role is on-site in our Dublin office. Remote and hybrid work are not available.
Travel
This position requires minimal travel. Employees may travel to EASE locations, customer sites, work-related conferences, trainings, and industry events.
QualificationsEducation
Bachelor’s degree in business, education, human resources, organizational development, supply chain, or a related field preferred.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate training, learning and development, or a related role, including designing and delivering employee training programs. This requirement applies regardless of degree status.
- Demonstrated experience owning learning programs from needs assessment and instructional design through delivery, evaluation, and continuous improvement, including onboarding or ongoing employee development.
- Experience with HubSpot, McLeod, Microsoft 365, Claude, and similar AI tools preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Supply chain, logistics, or third-party or fourth-party logistics (3PL/4PL) experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to influence and lead cross-functional initiatives without direct supervisory authority.
- Ability to evaluate learning outcomes and connect training results to employee performance and business needs.
- Hands-on approach, with a willingness to work alongside sales and operations teams to learn the work firsthand.
- Ability to learn and translate carrier sales, customer operations, accounting, and other business workflows into practical role‑specific training.
- Experience with LMS platforms; Paycom experience preferred.
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills in live and virtual settings, including Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
- Knowledge and practical application of instructional design methodologies, such as ADDIE or SAM, and adult learning principles required.
- Experience supporting change management or leadership development programs.
- Strong interpersonal and project management skills.Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
