Job summary

The Transfer Agency Trainer at Ultimus Fund Solutions leads the design, development, and delivery of formal training programs for the Transfer Agency. You will partner with stakeholders across departments to map training roadmaps and work with clients using the Transfer Agency systems.

Qualifications

SUMMARY

The Transfer Agency Trainer is responsible for the development, facilitation, and coordination of Ultimus’ formal training programs for the Transfer Agency. Additionally, this role will work with stakeholders across Transfer Agency departments to determine department-specific training roadmaps, as well as with clients who use the Transfer Agency systems.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Designs, develops, updates, and delivers professional quality presentations and training materials to include quick reference guides, online learning resources, PowerPoint presentations, and other training materials.
• Through surveys, evaluates the effectiveness of training activities and regularly monitors and provides recommendations for continued improvement along with sharing with leadership individual performance.
• Facilitates the organization’s New Employee and department-specific training programs.
• Assists with the organization’s new associate onboarding, including the development of customized new associate training plans.
• Develops online training materials (i.e., e-learning and videos).
• Maintains quality service by staying up to date on Transfer Agency development opportunities.
• Partners with internal teams to understand upcoming new hires, process or system deployments and/or releases, which roles or stakeholders the changes will impact, and what aspects need to be trained.
• Continually updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; internal company and team trainings; maintains personal networks; participates in professional development opportunities.
• Assists on writing internal guidelines to train from this documentation.

PROCESS IMPROVEMENT

• Works with key stakeholders across all Transfer Agency departments on process improvement opportunities uncovered during training development and delivery.
• Continually updates training materials to reflect industry and department-level changes.

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

• Mentors associates through instruction, coaching, providing real-time on-the-job experiences, modeling effective practices, and advising on methods used.
• Collaborates with key organizational stakeholders to design and improve course materials, reviewing feedback for improvement ideas, and supporting technology and hardware setup.
• Contact as needed with team and internal teams regarding general information, resolution of issues, inquiries, or reporting requirements.

May perform other duties as required and assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Associate’s degree in communication, finance, or similar field.
• 3-5+ years of experience with Mutual Funds with training experience or similar background.

Equivalent education, experience, and KSA’s will be considered.

PHYSICAL AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• At times, as business needs arise, associates are required and agree to work beyond their normal workday or work week to fulfill the accountabilities required for their job.
