Job summary

iSi Environmental seeks a part-time Trainer at our Corporate Headquarters in Wichita, KS to deliver safety and OSHA-related training to internal and external customers.

The role includes developing training materials, conducting sessions on HAZWOPER, OSHA courses, and KDHE-regulated topics, and ensuring regulatory compliance. A bachelor's degree and 3–5 years in safety are preferred, with a valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field with 3 years' safety experience, or 5 years' safety experience
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and KDHE regulations
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record
• HAZWOPER 24-hr/40-hr training or similar certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal and external training on a variety of safety topics including HAZWOPER 24-hr and 40-hr and 8-hr refreshers, 10 and 30 hour OSHA training for General Industry and Construction
• Develop and update training materials as needed
• Operate motor vehicles safely and in accordance with applicable regulations
• Provide additional support as needed

Job Description

Position Responsibilities

• Conduct internal and external training on a variety of safety topics including HAZWOPER 24-hr and 40-hr and 8-hr refreshers, 10 and 30 hour OSHA training for General Industry and Construction, etc.
• Develop and update training materials as needed.
• Operate motor vehicles safely and in accordance with applicable regulations.
• Provide additional support as needed.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Bachelor's degree in related field AND 3 years experience in safety
• field; OR 5 years experience in the safety field
