Job summary

SeaWorld is seeking enthusiastic Ambassadors trainers to conduct and coordinate training for Ambassadors across the park. You will lead safety sessions, station training, and coaching to ensure high guest service and operational readiness.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to manage multiple training projects in a dynamic park environment. The position emphasizes delivering engaging trainings, maintaining records, and supporting park operations while adhering to

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months experience in Park Operations and current Assistant Supervisor role.
• 6 months experience in rides preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication for group presentations.
• Ability to create a cooperative team environment and positive behaviors.
• Ability to work with a diverse team and guest expectations.
• Willingness to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency with PowerPoint and common MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct training for Ambassadors, including tours, safety, and station procedures.
• Provide ongoing coaching and retraining to Ambassadors and support staff.
• Communicate concerns about Ambassador progress to Supervisor and identify training needs.
• Conduct training classes and complete training documentation for records.
• Provide answers to Ambassadors to help achieve job proficiency.
• Support other facilities within the park as needed.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards and proper PPE use.
• Model professional behavior and grooming standards.

What you get to do:

• Conduct training for Ambassadors to include facility tours, safety training, and assigned station training
• Provide ongoing coaching and retraining opportunities to Ambassadors and support team members through positive reinforcement.
• Communicate with Supervisor concerns regarding Ambassador's progress; Identify additional training needs
• Conduct necessary training classes and ensure completion of training materials and paperwork for Ambassador and department records
• Provide answers to Ambassadors to achieve job proficiency
• Assist other facilities throughout the park as needed
• Support facility integrity by maintaining the company standard of quality and cleanliness.
• Consistently practices safe work habits including but not limited to use of personal protective equipment, lifting, driving, and reporting of unsafe situations.
• Consistently demonstrates courteous and professional behavior in all work aspects with all Ambassadors and guests.
• Works as part of a team to increase productivity and while providing excellent guest service.
• Maintains a professional appearance that meets grooming standards
• Must be able to consistently model behaviors expected of Par Operations Leadership.
• Must be able to understand cleanliness standards, federal, state and local health requirements and consistently follow all company and departmental policies.
• Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of and train "On the Job Trainer" station tools
• Must be able to monitor the progress of new team members, conduct a 14 day safety check and re-direct behavior if needed.
• Complete appropriate Ambassador/facility audits as needed/assigned.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with team members and members of park leadership
• Must be able to perform other miscellaneous duties as required.
• Coordinate scheduling of classes as necessary.

What it takes to succeed:

• Must have minimum of 6 months experience in Park Operations and be a current Assistant Supervisor.
• 6 months experience in rides preferred.
• Exhibit effective verbal and written communication skills; speak comfortably in front of groups; respond effectively to individual and group questions
• Create and maintain a cooperative team environment, to establish positive behaviors and actions of Ambassador
• Work effectively within a diverse work environment to meet and exceed guest and Ambassador expectations
• Must be willing to work as part of a team as well as work independently with little or no supervision.
• Organize resources, establish priorities and monitor multiple projects and assignments; results oriented
• Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time in extreme weather conditions
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Must be able to complete all required Train-the-Trainer programs and certifications required for delivery of department trainings.
• Consistently practices safe work habits including but not limited to the use of personal protective equipment, lifting and reporting of unsafe situations.
• Must be able to successfully complete all legal, company and department training requirements to include but not limited to passing required tests and certifications within established timelines.
• Must have basic computer and audio/visual skills and be proficient in the use of PowerPoint; familiar with standard computer software programs, i.e., MS Office, Outlook and Windows.
• Must be willing to comply with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards.
• Must have strong guest service skills and a desire to assist others
• Must be able to successfully complete Facility Trainer audition
• Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Must be able to work with and around chemicals.

Compensation : $19.50 per hour
