Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Trainer 1 to deliver foundational training to new and existing employees at Location CVG-300. The role ensures understanding of company policies, procedures, and basic job-specific skills, enabling a capable workforce.

You will develop and present materials, assess learning, and maintain records, collaborating with senior trainers to meet safety and quality standards, contributing to Jabil's operational excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree preferred).
• 1-2 years manufacturing or similar environment experience.
• Prior training or teaching experience is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to present information effectively to individuals and small groups.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
• Strong interpersonal skills and patience.
• Ability to learn new processes quickly.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct entry-level training sessions for various operational and administrative roles.
• Prepare and organize training materials, including presentations, handouts, and practical exercises.
• Deliver training in a clear, concise, and engaging manner, accommodating diverse learning styles.
• Assess trainee comprehension through quizzes, practical demonstrations, and direct observation.
• Provide constructive feedback to trainees and report progress to management.
• Maintain accurate training records and documentation.
• Collaborate with senior trainers and subject matter experts to understand training needs and content.
• Ensure all training activities comply with company standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
• Assist in updating and improving existing training materials under supervision.
• Respond to basic trainee inquiries and provide initial support.
