To promote the mission of PATH to help individuals achieve a more independent and fulfilling life by being an effective team member. Conduct regular staff training presentations for adults in classroom setting on various health, safety, and human services topics. Facilitate activities, skill sessions, and discussions; provide coaching and feedback to training participants; and provide leadership and management of the classroom. Learn and facilitate standard curricula to groups. Handle all A/V equipment in training room. Greet and assist guest speakers with equipment needs/set up. Assist in producing training handouts and power point presentations. Write articles for agency newsletter. Assist with agency Inservice Committee. Assist with monitoring provision of required training.
Must be able to perform physical demands of training, such as standing for several hours when conducting training, and bending/lifting/kneeling associated with CPR, Back Safety, and training set up, such as moving tables/chairs/mats in the classroom.
