Job summary

Brinks in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Training Specialist to lead onboarding, certification, and ongoing functional training for hourly staff within the facility.

You will conduct safety training, monitor LIFE in Field Experience compliance, and perform street inspections and observation rides as part of the certification process. Ensure permits and licenses training requirements are up to date and cross-train teammates while safeguarding facility assets.

Responsibilities

• Onboard new hourly staff with core training and refresher sessions
• Deliver functional certification including training, measurement, and testing
• Provide safety training and other necessary training within the facility
• Monitor LIFE (Learning in Field Experience) compliance with policies
• Conduct CIT street inspections and observation rides for certification
• Track and report permits/licenses and related training changes
• Cross-train colleagues and guard facility assets and liability

Job description

• Ensure core training is conducted for new employees within assigned facility(s)


• Conduct initial and refresher functional training within assigned facility(s)


• Conduct functional certification process, to include training, measurement, and testing as part of official certification for hourly positions within the facility(s)


• Conduct safety training and other training as needed within assigned facility(s)


• Monitor LIFE (Learning in Field Experience) for assigned facility to ensure full compliance with established training policies, procedures and objectives


• Conduct CIT street inspections and observation rides for assigned facility(s) as part of functional certification process


• Track and report on all required city and state permits and/or licenses for assigned facility(s), and monitor and report training requirement changes affecting those permits and/or licenses
