Responsibilities

Hammond Lumber Company is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated team member to join our Training Team as a Trainer. This position plays an important role in supporting employee development, onboarding, operational consistency, and long-term growth across our locations. The Trainer will work closely with branch leadership, department managers, and employees to deliver training programs, reinforce company standards, and help team members build the skills needed to succeed. The ideal candidate is passionate about teaching others, enjoys building relationships, and is committed to creating a positive learning experience while supporting Hammond Lumber Company's culture and values.

Primary Responsibilities

• Facilitate instructor-led training programs, workshops, and onboarding sessions
• Conduct branch visits to support employee development and operational training needs
• Coach and mentor employees, supervisors, and managers on company processes and best practices
• Assist in the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of training materials, guides, and learning resources
• Support Learning Management System (LMS) administration and training documentation
• Monitor training completion and help ensure compliance with required training programs
• Partner with branch management to identify performance gaps and recommend training solutions
• Provide feedback to the Training Manager regarding training effectiveness and opportunities for improvement
• Support company training initiatives, rollouts, and special projects

Salary Description

$15.10-$32.00 per hour
