Job summary

Liberation Drinks is seeking a Trainee Cellar Service Technician to join our team on Guernsey. You will learn to install, maintain and service drinks dispense systems across pubs, bars and restaurants, while upholding high quality standards.

This hands-on role offers full on-the-job training, a company vehicle, and holidays that grow with service. You will develop practical skills in cellar management and gain NCCSIM Level 3 certification support.

Responsibilities

• Support planned preventative maintenance on drinks dispense equipment.
• Assist with reactive repairs and emergency breakdowns.
• Carry out line cleaning to quality schedules.
• Learn to install and commission dispense systems.
• Complete service documentation accurately and on time.
• Communicate clearly with customers and the Technical Services Manager.
• Manage workload and participate in on-call rota.

Liberation Drinks is looking for a Trainee Cellar Service Technician to join our team in Guernsey. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone practical, proactive and keen to build a long-term career in drinks dispense and cellar management.

You’ll be out and about across the island, supporting our pubs, bars and restaurants – learning how to install, maintain and service drinks dispense systems while ensuring every pour meets our quality standards.

Key Responsibilities/Main Duties:

• Supporting with planned preventative maintenance on drinks dispense equipment
• Assisting with reactive repairs and emergency breakdowns
• Carrying out line cleaning to strict quality schedules
• Learning how to install and commission dispense systems
• Completing service documentation accurately and on time
• Communicating clearly with customers and the Technical Services Manager
• Managing your workload effectively, including participation in an on-call rota

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

• Is energetic, self-motivated and hands-on with an “I can fix this” attitude
• Enjoys practical problem-solving
• Is a strong team player with excellent customer-facing communication skills
• Has a genuine interest in beer and is passionate about quality
• Is physically fit and comfortable working in cellar environments
• Holds a full, valid driving licence
