The role of the Trainee Broker encompasses support for the broker desk during the daily trading cycle, back-up for broker confirmations, and assisting the office manager as needed in daily tasks. Training will be provided.

• Compile analysis of prior day’s trading volumes and enter data into corresponding spreadsheetso Domestic Canadian and Rockies internal market recaps
• Update and maintain Wallboard market information
• Marketview, Posting Plus
• Learn and utilize the Bloomberg terminal and Link page
• Keep public folder Contacts up to date
• Generate ranking reports and revenue reports weekly
• Execute relevant reports for both internal use and client submission
• Link Daily Report- enter trades and generate report
• Forward Curve-enter values and generate each report daily
• Canadian Report- enter values and generate report
• Assist brokers in writing up daily transactions as they occur in real time

• Updating settlement prices for Forward curve
• Manage distribution lists for all LDS reports.
