Job summary

Orkin is seeking a Pest Control Service Technician (Will Train) in Mechanicsville, VA. You will start with award-winning training and progress to managing a pest control service route under supervision. No industry experience is required to begin building a career with Orkin.

In this on-site role, you will drive a company vehicle, schedule visits, and discuss additional services with customers to meet their pest management needs. A pesticide license is required within 90 days of employment.

Qualifications

• No experience required—we'll train you to be a Pro.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days (company paid).
• Ability to work in the field independently, manage route-based assignments and interact with customers.

Responsibilities

• Complete award-winning company paid training to operate a pest control service route.
• Drive a company vehicle and follow a route schedule within territory.
• Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction and discuss additional services.
• Serve as a problem solver to determine the best pest solution for each customer.
• Complete required service-related documentation using handheld device.
