Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Clean driving record in the past 36 months; no drug/alcohol related incidents.
• Must not have diversion/probation related to drug/alcohol offenses.
• Must successfully complete an English assessment before interview.

Responsibilities

• Inspect equipment, locomotives, and rail cars for safety.
• Perform coupling and drawbar operations; operate remote control locomotives.
• Communicate information to crews, yard controllers, and dispatchers.
• Maintain documentation as required and comply with FRA regulations.
• Perform duties as assigned by a supervisor.
