The role involves troubleshooting, repairs, installations, and field work to keep the system safe and responsive for millions of riders. Strong diagnostic skills and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in electronics or equivalent
• 1 year of verifiable electronic/electro‑mechanical maintenance experience
• Must possess valid California driver’s license (for field work)

Responsibilities

• Repair, replace and test power supplies, relays, motors and switches.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose hardware and software in train control equipment.
• Install new assemblies and wiring for equipment modifications.
• Read manuals and schematics; document work performed.
