Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment FRA drug and alcohol screening.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Build and inspect trains, railcars, and equipment for safe operation.
• Operate remote control locomotives and perform coupling, align drawbars, apply hand brakes.
• Communicate effectively with crews, dispatchers, and yard controllers.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with FRA and company safety regulations.
• Be available for call 24/7 with as little as 90 minutes’ notice.
• Work outdoors and endure irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
