Responsibilities

• Performs trailer switches moving a parked trailer to/from doors or yard.
• Communicates with management to coordinate trailer movements.
• Documents trailer moves using Yard Management System or switcher cards.
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections on switcher equipment.
• May perform Package Handler duties: loads/unloads packages with hand-to-surface methods.
• Sorts packages using scanning and conveyor systems and assists with loading.
