Job summary

SA Recycling in Bakersfield, CA seeks an experienced Welder to repair and maintain our fleet of trailers and containers. You will perform structural welds, fabricate components, and ensure roadworthiness per DOT standards.

Work is outdoors in varying weather, with safety as a priority. Candidates should have welding experience and be able to pass drug tests, physicals, and background checks.

Qualifications

• 1 year welding experience in DOT trailer service/repair preferred.
• 3+ years welding on metals using MIG, stick, and torch.
• Advanced knowledge of welding fabrication tools and techniques.
• Ability to work at heights, in tight spaces, and varying positions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair trailer bodies and components safely.
• Cut, fabricate, and weld structural or non-structural parts per guidelines.
• Maintain records of all work per SA Recycling and DOT requirements.
• Communicate effectively with team and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
