Job summary

SA Recycling is seeking an experienced Welder for trailer and container repairs. The role is based in the truck shop, performing structural repairs, PMs, and ensuring DOT compliance. Work is outside in varying weather, with safety first.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and welding experience in DOT trailer service. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; drug screen and background checks may be required. Pay starts at $20/hr and up, with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1 year welding experience in DOT trailer service/repair preferred.
• 3+ years welding on various metals using MIG, stick and torch welding.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair trailer bodies and components.
• Perform repairs by cutting, fabricating, and welding structural parts per guidelines.
• Maintain records per company and DOT requirements.
• Communicate effectively with team in a safe, professional manner.
• Keep work area clean and orderly.
• Follow safety and environmental practices.
