Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC in Harrisburg, PA seeks a safety-conscious associate to wash and sanitize trailers and report maintenance needs. You will operate a pressure washer, follow food safety standards, and maintain clean yard areas.

The role requires ability to read and follow instructions, lift up to 50 pounds, and work flexible hours with overtime as needed. CDL class A preferred but not required; training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English related to safety and job tasks.
• Must follow established food safety and company standards.

Responsibilities

• Operates high pressure water hose to clean and sanitize trailers per standards.
• Inspects trailers for mechanical defects and reports to fleet maintenance supervisor.
• Maintains and safely operates all assigned equipment, including pressure washer, movable stairs, PPE.
• Ensures environmental laws and food safety protocols are met; maintains sanitary conditions in trailers and truck yard.
• Follows safety procedures and reports unsafe conditions to management.
• Completes cleaning records in a timely manner per standards.
• Works assigned schedule and overtime as needed; maintains regular attendance.
