Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2 years related experience and/or training.
• Certified aluminum and steel welding MIG and TIG or comparable experience.
• DOT inspection certified or minimum 1 year working experience.
• CDL and Medical card preferred but not required.
• Current and valid driver license with insurability as required by company.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proficiency of 60% or better, billing a minimum of 4.8 hours per day.
• Follow safety measures for personal and environmental safety; wear required gear.
• Perform aluminum and steel MIG welding; diagnose simple electrical systems.
• Complete DOT inspections on semi-trailers per DOT standards.
• Identify root causes and perform repairs across similar components.
• Document work accurately and timely; review repair orders and notes.
