Job summary

J.B. Hunt is seeking a Trailer Technician in San Bernardino, CA, to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on trailers, containers, and chassis. You will work under supervision, ensuring equipment meets company standards and safety guidelines.

You will complete work orders, adhere to SRT timelines and warranty requirements, and communicate effectively with team members and customers. A toolbox program and benefits support ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in semi-trailer maintenance and repair.
• Ability to supply basic tools or participate in toolbox program.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• DOT/SFHWA inspections experience is preferred.
• Basic welding skills (MIG and stick) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and standard repairs on trailer equipment per specs.
• Accurately complete work orders and follow SRT and warranty guidelines.
• Follow shop safety procedures at all times.
• Maintain professional communication with J.B. Hunt personnel and customers.
