Job summary

Timpte is seeking a Trailer Technician at the TIMPTE Customer Support Center in Whitestown, IN. This role offers day hours with weekends off and a starting pay of $24.00-$30.00 per hour depending on experience.

A quarterly bonus up to $5,000 per year is available, with additional earnings around $2.40/hour in bonus pay. Responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing and servicing trailers, welding when needed, and ensuring work is performed safely and professionally.

Qualifications

• Experience in diagnosing and repairing trailers is preferred.
• Welding of steel and aluminum may be required.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and service trailers of all brands.
• Replace damaged panels, rails, traps and perform alignments.

Job Responsibilities

• Technicians replace or repair damaged panels, rails, and traps
• Perform trailer alignments and adjustments, repair and replace brakes, cams and wheel seals
• Welding some steel and aluminum

Desired Skills, Knowledge, And Qualifications

• Ability to work in a standing position and/or walk up to 100% of the time
• Ability to bend, stoop, crawl around equipment, and crawl in and out of tubs and trailers and to work from ladders
• Ability to carry objects weighting up to 50 lbs. for a distance of 10-50 feet. Objects over 50lbs, use two people
