Job summary

XPO is seeking a Technician Specialist in St. Louis, MO. The role focuses on trailer inspections, brake replacements, and routine maintenance to develop skills toward FMCSA-qualified inspection capabilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement: valid driver’s license, basic mechanical skills, and ability to document maintenance and repairs.
• Willingness to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends.
• Desire to become a Trailer Technician Level 1 with progression potential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with trailer inspections and brake replacement to gain experience meeting FMCSA requirements.
• Perform maintenance, service, and repairs on trailers and SafeStack Systems.
• Enter job times and parts on repair orders to track activities.
• Operate specialized tooling and vehicles and ensure a clean, safe workspace.
• Interact with operations and shop management.
