Job summary

XPO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Technician Specialist to support trailer maintenance, inspections, and repairs.

You will gain FMCSA-qualified experience toward promotion, perform brake replacements, component swaps, and door system servicing on trailers, and document work orders in a collaborative shop environment. The role requires a valid driver’s license, basic mechanical and computer skills, and flexibility to work days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license and basic mechanical skills.
• Must be able to document maintenance, service, and repair activities.
• Able to perform safety inspections and prepare documentation.
• Desire to grow into Technician Level 1 and FMCSA-qualified trailer inspections.

Responsibilities

• Assist with trailer inspections and brake replacement to gain FMCSA qualification progress.
• Complete component replacements and perform maintenance on trailer doors and SafeStack Systems.
• Work with shop technicians on minor trailer repairs and document repair times.
• Operate specialized tooling and vehicles and maintain a safe work area.
