Job summary

J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. is seeking a trailer technician to perform basic maintenance, service and repair on trailers, containers and chassis. Under close supervision, you will ensure fleet readiness to meet company standards.

Minimum qualifications include 1 year in trailer maintenance and the ability to work outdoors, nights or weekends if needed. A GED/HS diploma and basic tools are required; benefits and a sign-on bonus may apply.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in semi-trailer maintenance and repair or equivalent.
• Able to supply basic tools or purchase via toolbox program.
• Willingness to work outdoors and across multiple shifts.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate basic knowledge of preventive maintenance and repairs on trailer equipment.
• Perform repairs per specifications, complete work orders, follow SRTs and warranty guidelines.
• Follow shop safety procedures and communicate with J.B. Hunt personnel and customers.
