Job summary

Transport Refrigeration of NW Arkansas, Inc. (TRA), your local Thermo King dealer, is hiring a Trailer Technician / Diesel Mechanic to support our growing maintenance shop in Lowell, AR.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with no weekend shifts. Pay ranges from $23.50 to $35.00 per hour, depending on experience. This role offers hands-on training, competitive benefits, and opportunities for advancement within a trusted dealership network.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Trailer Technician, Diesel Mechanic, Automotive Technician, or Welder (preferred, not required)
• Entry-level candidates with mechanical aptitude or tech school training encouraged to apply
• Valid driver's license
• Obtain toolbox and the required tools
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs
• Travel required occasionally
• Reliable and team-oriented

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair trailers
• Perform brake, lighting, and electrical repairs
• Complete preventative maintenance (PMs)
• Repair doors, floors, and trailer components
• Assist with welding and structural repairs (as needed)
• Maintain accurate service documentation
• Keep a clean and safe work environment
