JB Hunt Transport, Inc. in Memphis is seeking a Trailer Technician Trainee to gain hands-on experience in air brake systems, repairs, and FHWA inspections under supervision. The role involves learning shop safety, completing standard repairs, and coordinating with team members.

This full-time position may require outdoor work, irregular shifts including nights and weekends, and overtime; it offers a path to skilled maintenance work within the JB Hunt maintenance department.

Qualificações

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Able to supply your own basic tools or purchase through toolbox program.
• Willingness to work outdoors in the elements.
• Able to work across multiple shifts, including nights and/or weekends.

Responsabilidades

• Shadow a more senior team member to learn repairs to company and manufacturer specs and train to meet standard repair times and warranty guidelines.
• Follow all shop safety procedures.
• Maintain professional communication with JB Hunt personnel and customers.
• Train to perform routine preventative maintenance and basic air brake system repairs, including FHWA inspections.
