Responsibilities include shadowing a senior technician, following safety rules, and building proficiency in air brake systems, preventive maintenance, and FHWA inspections, with possible nights, weekends, and overtime.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• GED or High School diploma preferred.
• Willingness to work outdoors in the elements.

Responsibilities

• Shadow a senior technician to learn repairs to specifications and complete work orders.
• Follow shop safety procedures and maintain professional communication with personnel and customers.
• Train in routine preventative maintenance, parts replacement, basic air brake system repairs, and FHWA inspections.
