Prestige Fleet Services is seeking experienced diesel technicians to perform on-site trailer and truck maintenance and repairs for our growing mobile team in Los Angeles. You’ll diagnose, repair, and inspect braking, electrical, and mechanical systems at customer sites with DOT-compliant standards.

Formación

• Minimum of 3 years of tractor trailer repair experience.
• Communication skills required for clear on-site coordination.
• Ability to work extended hours including weekends and holidays.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Self-motivated with strong organization and planning.
• Ability to use a computer/tablet for work orders and updates.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs and stand long periods.

Responsabilidades

• Maintaining and performing repairs and inspections on trailers.
• Handling brake systems, diagnostics, electrical systems, tires, and related components.
• Repairing damage and welding for major jobs.
• Repair or replace trailer parts ( flooring, rails, landing gear, lift gates).
• Schedule and oversee maintenance procedures and DOT inspections.
• Open and close repair orders on company device.
• Obtain parts from local vendors and manage inventory.
• Complete DOT forms and documentation promptly.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Maintaining and performing repairs and inspections on trailers.
• Handling brake systems, diagnostics, electrical systems, tires and othercomponents, lift-gates, tires,
• Repairing damage and welding for major jobs
• Repair or replace trailer parts such as flooring, rails, landing gear and lift gates.
• Schedule and overlook all maintenance procedures, including preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Open and Close repair orders on a company-issued device.
• Obtain parts from local vendors and manage inventory on the service vehicles or trailers.
• Accurately complete DOT forms and all other forms of documentation in a timely fashion.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE

• Minimum of 3years of tractor trailer repairexperience.
• Communication skills
• Ability to work extended and/or irregular hours including weekends and holidays when
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Self-motivated with excellent organization and planning skills
• Ability to utilize a computer/tablet for electronic processing of work orders which includes adding labor hoursand updating work order
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to bend, stoop or crawl.
• Must beable to stand for long periods of time (1-2 hours)
• 2-years' experiencein performing annual federal inspections and brake inspections.

Salary information: $28 - $34/hr. – pay is commensurate with experience
