Job summary

Peak Industrial Company is seeking a Mobile/Remote Trailer Mechanic to service customers in the Las Vegas area. You will diagnose and repair truck and trailer systems while working remotely from a service vehicle.

Diesel system maintenance and a strong focus on safety and customer communication are essential. A clean driving record and commitment to quality work are required, with growth opportunities and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years truck/trailer repair experience.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass drug screen.
• Computer proficiency with basic diagnostics.

Job description

Peak Thermo King is currently seeking a Mobile/Remote Trailer Mechanic that is motivated and experienced to serve our customers in Las Vegas, Nevada. Must be able to work independently, and have a clean driving record, as you will be working remotely from a truck in the Las Vegas area.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently diagnose and repair truck/trailer systems.
• Diesel system maintenance – including fuel system cleaning and maintenance.
• Drive excellence in customer service through proactive communication and meeting commitments.
• Drive to meet and exceed productivity, cleanliness and customer satisfaction standards.
• Follow established technical and administrative processes as directed.
• Adhere to all technician policies and procedures while completing tasks and efficiently closing repair orders.
• Participate in OEM and other training programs as deemed appropriate.

Requirements

• 2+ years truck/trailer mechanical repair experience.
• Possess standard mechanic’s tools – as required to perform assigned duties.
• Technical knowledge of major vehicle systems and diesel equipment.
• Must be computer proficient.
• Strong organizational ability, focus on the needs of the customer.
• Can-do attitude with ability to demonstrate good judgment and decision-making skills.
• Safety conscious attitude and work practices.
• Desire to learn and continuously improve self and surroundings.
• Clean driving record and ability to maintain clean drug screens.
