Job summary

N/A is seeking a Trailer Maintenance Technician to diagnose and repair assigned commercial trailers on site. You will verify repairs align with original customer complaints and document time in the costing system while maintaining trailer cleanliness and safety.

Focus on learning company standards, warranty procedures, and vehicle policies, with carpentry/auto mechanics experience preferred. Duties may expand or change over time.

Qualifications

• Verbal and written communication to include simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Basic computer use and navigation skills.
• Knowledge of trailer repair techniques.
• Ability to learn company standards, warranty procedures, and vehicle policies.
• Customer service focused.
• Carpentry and auto mechanics experience.

• Diagnose and repair assigned trailers in an accurate and timely manner.

• Punches in and out of job costing program to ensure accurate time billed to customer.
• Mindful of maintaining customer’s trailer cleanliness at all times while working on trailer.
• Works to achieve company efficiency standards.
• Ensures warranty parts are returned to proper department for processing.
• Follows all established OSHA and company safety protocol to include keeping work station neat, clean, and free of debris.
