Trailer Technician

Western Express, an asset‑based trucking company headquartered in Nashville, TN, is hiring a Trailer Technician to join its Maintenance Team. The role is full‑time, scheduled for 45 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair the fleet of dry‑van and flatbed semi‑truck and trailer bodies, systems, and components.
• Perform preventative maintenance, including warrantable and accident‑related repairs.
• Inspect suspension, wheel‑end, braking, and structural components to meet company and DOT specifications.
• Test equipment for performance issues.

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude with a drive to learn and advance in the department.
• Minimum of two years of verifiable experience (preferred but not required).
• Proficiency with tooling; main air tools will be provided.
• Must achieve at least 85% productivity and 95% efficiency.
• Self‑motivated, punctual, and eager to learn.
