Koch Companies is seeking a Trailer Tech II at our Saint Paul shop. You will perform advanced maintenance and repairs on trailer units, focusing on inspections, diagnostics and DOT/compliance, with opportunities for mobile service.

The role requires 2+ years of trailer experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently. Competitive pay $27-38/hr, day shift, with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of trailer maintenance experience.
• Ability to independently complete advanced repair work.

Responsibilities

• Practice safe work habits following Koch policies.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and advanced trailer repairs.
• DOT compliance inspections and repairs as required.
• Brake system inspections and replacements (air and electric).
• Air ride system troubleshooting and repairs.
• Landing gear, structural, door, and liftgate repairs as needed.
• Electrical repairs including trailer wiring and ABS sensor work.
• Preventative maintenance for reefers/heaters; check batteries and belts.
• Order parts as needed and bring to the work area.
