Job summary

PAM Transport Inc. seeks a motivated trailer mechanic to join a team dedicated to keeping America’s freight moving. From beginner to lead, you will handle repairs, welding, and maintenance on trailers, with attention to quality and documentation.

The role offers an 8pm–6:30am Sunday to Wednesday schedule, with a pay range of $21.00–$30.00 per hour based on experience. Benefits include health, 401K, PTO, and more.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year on trailer/mechanical experience.
• Repair brake system and axles on trailers.
• Strong mechanical and technical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform accident damage repairs and PM maintenance on trailers.
• Perform aluminum and steel welding.
• Perform various maintenance tasks on trailers.
• Properly document and maintain records of equipment.
• Replace trailer panels and sheet metal.
• Repair wood/metal flooring in trailers.

Pay and Schedule

Sunday - Wednesday 8pm to 6:30am

The pay range is $21.00 - $30.00 hour depending on experience.
