Job summary

PAM Transport Inc. is seeking a trailer mechanic in Irving, IA. This full-time, on-site role focuses on maintenance, welding, and repairs to keep our fleet moving.

You will perform repairs, document records, replace panels, and work a Sunday-Wednesday 6am-4:30pm schedule with pay range $30-$35 per hour. Candidates should have at least one year of trailer experience and own basic tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year on trailer/mechanical experience.
• Repair brake system and axels on trailers.
• Strong mechanical and technical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Own basic tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform accident damage repairs and PM maintenance on trailers.
• Perform aluminum and steel welding.
• Perform various maintenance on repair tasks on trailers.
• Properly document and maintain records of equipment.
• Replace trailer panels and sheet metal.
• Repair wood/metal flooring in trailers.

We are seeking a highly motivated skilled trailer mechanics. From beginners to skilled leaders, each technician will be an integral part of keeping America’s freight moving forward.

Pay and Schedule

• Sunday to Wednesday 6am to 430pm
• The pay range is $30-$35 Per Hour depending on experience.
