Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Trailer and SRI Repair Specialist to maintain the latest fleet of trailers and trucks. You will work on maintenance tasks, participate in an extensive Technician Training Program, and use U-Haul’s proprietary tools to ensure equipment readiness for customers.

• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of repair experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Secure trailers on lifts and dollies.
• Perform tire and brake maintenance.
• Rebuild and repair braking systems and trailer components.
• Dismount, balance and mount tires.
• Occasionally road-test vehicles.
• Work on a production line.
• Use proprietary electronic pre-inspection and repair checklist.
• Lend assistance in additional areas as needed per supervisor's guidance.

Trailer And SRI Repair Specialist Primary Responsibilities

• Secure trailers on lifts and dollies.
• Perform tire and brake maintenance.
