Job summary

Truck Centers, Inc. is seeking a Trailer Parts Specialist to own the daily trailer parts process, support promotions, and help customers find the right parts. This role requires organization, teamwork, and industry knowledge, with occasional travel to TCI locations in Illinois, Indiana, or Missouri.

You’ll support sales and grow customer relationships in a collaborative environment. The position is based in Troy, IL or at any TCI location, with uptime focus on parts service and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in trailer or trucking industry preferred.
• Customer-first mindset and strong service orientation.
• Willing to travel to other TCI locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Own the daily trailer parts process—handle sales tickets, customer returns, and keep customer accounts up to date with sharp attention to detail.
• Work closely with our Parts Marketing Manager to support promotions, pricing strategies, and ongoing team training.
• Be the go-to for our customers—identify their needs, support sales efforts, and help match them with the right parts and solutions.
• Support our growth by finding new business opportunities and strengthening relationships with our current customers.
• Use the FleetPerform system to stay organized, track activity, and make sure everything’s running smoothly.
• Stay up to date on products from our suppliers, including warranties, policies, and digital systems.
• Help us keep innovating—spot new products, suggest promotions, host training nights, and plan customer events to showcase our offerings.
• Provide top-notch customer service during the day and on-call after hours when needed.
• Use equipment safely—including forklifts and pallet jacks—following all safety guidelines and company policies.
• Hit the road occasionally to visit other TCI locations and support our Outside Parts Team with field work and customer development.

The Trailer Parts Specialist is a pivotal role in TCI’s continued market expansion to deliver comprehensive, high-quality parts and services to our customers. We’re looking for a Trailer Parts Specialist who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and help us deliver best-in-class service and support to our customers. This role is a Shared Services position that can be based out of our Corporate location in Troy, IL or out of any of our 10 TCI locations in Illinois, Indiana, or Missouri.

Pay Range: $56,193.28 - $84,289.92 per year with incentive eligibility
