Interstate Group LLC is seeking a Parts & Service Associate in Augusta, KS. The role combines trailer servicing, parts installations, inventory control, and customer consultations to keep operations running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 6 months of related mechanical or service experience, with a focus on safety and reliability. Expect a hands-on environment and a roughly 40–45 hour workweek.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 6+ months of related mechanical, service, or assembly experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and using hand/power tools.
• Basic math/geometry for installations.
• Commitment to working safely and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Technical & repair work: inspections, preventive maintenance, service, and parts installations on trailers and store equipment.
• Customer engagement: consultative approach to recommend parts and services.
• Inventory & operations: receive deliveries, track inventory, process paperwork, and ensure accurate labor/parts invoicing.
• Equipment operation: safely operate power tools, welding equipment, forklifts, and tractors (company certifications provided).
• Facility maintenance: keep a clean, organized, secure, and safe facility and yard.
• Store support: assist with warranty resolution, local lead generation, and trailer sales as needed.
