Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years experience as trailer mechanic preferred.
• Highly organized; ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding on mild steel.
• Repair and modify trailers as assigned.
• Repair trailer suspensions including brakes, drums, cams, slack adjusters, chambers, air valves, etc.
• Maintain allocated time frames on repairs/modifications.
• Diagnose and make recommendations on trailer repairs.
• Move trailers in/out of shop and yard with yard truck.
• Perform DOT inspections.
