Trailer Mechanic/Technician

Depot Connect International (DCI) (Formerly known as Polar Service Centers - PSC)

Compensation: Top pay for experienced technicians ranges from $21.00 to $41.00 per hour, starting pay based on experience and skill level.

We consider experienced trailer technicians at all skill levels.

Specialization: We repair tank trailers.

Location: Sacramento, CA service center, located in McClellan Park. Preference for technicians living within commuting distance.

Job Requirements:

• At least 18 years old
• Pass drug test and background check
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma, GED, or higher

Skills:

• Diagnose failures and repair mechanical, electrical, and other trailer systems
• Tank service and repair
• Experience with air brake systems
• TIG welding (aluminum, stainless, or carbon)
• Inspect tanks and trailers per DOT standards (HM183, hazmat)

Physical Demands:

• Regularly lift/move up to 50 pounds
• With assistance, lift/move up to 75 pounds
• Ability to work in confined spaces and fit through tank trailer manholes
