McLane Company, Inc. seeks a qualified Mechanic II to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on trailer refrigeration and diesel engines. This role requires diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a range of mechanical and electrical systems, and tolerances to ensure on-time delivery operations.

You will work in a fully trained shop, handle both routine and complex tasks, read service bulletins, and maintain safety compliance. A Class C license and ASE PMI certification preferred.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Trade school in heavy duty diesel repairs or refrigeration is preferred.
• 2 years diesel repairs, trailer, refrigeration maintenance experience.
• Valid Class C Drivers License; Class A preferred but not required.
• ASE PMI certification and related licenses encouraged.

Aufgaben

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on trailer refrigeration.
• Diagnose, remove, repair, or replace parts (clutches, water pumps, tires, suspensions, brakes).
• Repair diesel engines and perform front wheel and axle alignments.
• Troubleshoot cooling systems and conduct diagnostic tests.
• Read service bulletins and manuals; complete paperwork and input data.
