TRAILER MECHANIC DETAILS:

• Preventative maintenance inspections.
• Responsible for the repair, troubleshoot trailers.
• Repair work to dry and reefer van bodies, trailers and liftgates.
• Diagnosing faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required.
• Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems using hand and power tools.
• Testing repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers’ specifications.
• Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment.
• May perform repair work on heavy trucks

TRAILER MECHANIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2+ years of experience in a related field
• Vocational education strongly preferred
• Minimum tool requirement preferred
• Valid drivers license
• Applicant subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment

Salary $17.00 to $20.00
