Job summary

CDN Logistics, Inc. is seeking a skilled Trailer Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of a modern trailer fleet. You will handle DOT-compliant inspections, diagnose ABS and air system issues, and conduct structural repairs to keep equipment road-ready.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical experience required.
• Ability to read documentation and communicate in English.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Must own a basic set of tools and be comfortable working outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT-compliant trailer inspections (pre-trip, post-trip, annual).
• Diagnose and repair ABS, electrical, and air system components.
• Conduct structural and suspension repairs including landing gear and couplings.
• Maintain and repair trailer chassis; ensure FMCSA/IRM compliance.
• Track repairs and service history using maintenance software.
