Job summary

TSP talent is seeking a skilled Diesel Truck Technician in Kingsford, MI to perform safe operation, repair, rebuild, and maintenance of heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment for safe and reliable operation.

Responsibilities include daily inspections, diagnosing issues, and repairing hydraulic, electrical, brake, suspension, and PTO systems, ensuring fleet safety and reliability while performing preventative maintenance.

Qualifications

• Experience and ASE certifications encouraged.
• Ability to diagnose and repair complex truck systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills.

• Conduct daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on Diesel Refuse Trucks.
• Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, brake, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience and certifications, with pay increases for ASE testing and certifications.
• Ability to diagnose and repair complex truck systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills.

The role offers competitive hourly pay, benefits such as PTO, tool and boot allowances, health benefits, and 401K. Overtime is available after 40 hours. The shift is from 6am to 4pm, Monday to Friday. The position requires valid work authorization, and the screening process may involve machine-based systems.
