Qualifications

• Previous trailer mechanic experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of trailer structure and repair procedures.
• Experience with welding, fabrication, and frame repair required.

• Basic diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• CDL preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair semi-trailers and related equipment.
• Perform side wall repairs and replacements.
• Perform roof repairs and leak repairs.
• Conduct major frame and structural repairs.
• Repair or replace trailer floors, doors, lighting, suspension, and brake components.
• Weld and fabricate as needed.
• Inspect trailers for safety and DOT compliance.
• Maintain clean and organized work area.
• Accurately document repairs and parts usage.

We are seeking a Trailer Mechanic to join our CTS team in Green Bay. This position is ideal for a dependable, motivated technician who can work independently and handle a wide range of trailer repairs, including structural and collision-related work.

Essential Functions

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on semi-trailers and related equipment
• Complete side wall repairs and replacements
• Perform roof repairs and leak repairs
• Conduct major frame and structural repairs
• Repair or replace trailer floors, doors, lighting, suspension, and brake components
• Weld and fabricate as needed
• Inspect trailers for safety and DOT compliance
• Maintain clean and organized work area
• Accurately document repairs and parts usage
