Job summary

Quality Truck Care Center, Inc. in De Pere, WI is hiring a Trailer Technician / Trailer Mechanic to perform DOT and PM inspections, repair brakes, air and electrical systems, and weld fabrications in a clean, modern shop.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Wisconsin driver's license (CDL preferred).
  • Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
  • Experience with welding, fabrication, or trailer repair preferred.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform hands-on tasks safely.

Responsibilities

  • Perform DOT and Preventative Maintenance inspections on trailers.
  • Diagnose and repair brake, air, electrical (lighting, ABS), and suspension systems.
  • Weld and fabricate steel and aluminum trailer components.
  • Complete work orders and service documentation accurately.
  • Handle on-site service calls when needed.
  • Keep your work area clean, safe, and organized.
  • Work professionally with customers, drivers, and team members.

Position Summary:

Correctly perform DOT & PM Inspections on trailers. Repair or replace damaged or worn parts, including brakes, air system, electrical system and suspension components. Perform welding and fabrication repairs. Ensure all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner. Maintain accurate records of all work performed.
