Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions, Inc. is seeking a skilled Trailer Technician in Dallas, TX to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on trailers and equipment. You will work with a safety-focused team to diagnose issues and ensure on-time service.

The role requires experience with brakes, electrical systems, and diagnostics, plus strong communication. Shift is Monday–Friday, 7am–3:30pm, with a sign-on bonus and a competitive hourly pay range.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; certificate program or technical training in mechanics preferred.
• At least 1 year of professional trailer technician experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of air brakes, hydraulics, electrical, and ABS brake systems.
• Excellent interpersonal, organization, logistics, math, and communication skills.
• Ability to recognize trailer maintenance problems.
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
• Experience with diagnostic computers.
• Knowledge of working on trailers.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Welding or fabrication experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

PAY: $20-$34/hr (based on skills/experience) + $5,000 SIGN ON BONUS

The Trailer Technician is a safety sensitive role that will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on trailers and equipment while working safely and efficiently. This may include but is not limited to doors, floors, DOT inspections, wheel end services, and electrical diagnosis.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

• At least 1 year or more of professional experience as a trailer technician??
