Job summary

Mid-States Concrete Industries is hiring for a maintenance-focused role in Illinois to support routine and project maintenance of production trailers. The job emphasizes safety, reliability, and efficiency within a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Ability to inspect and assess yard trailers (Non-DOT) for minor repairs.
• Comfortable working outdoors year round.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, evaluate and perform minor repairs to yard trailers (Non-DOT) including decking replacement, cross-bracing, gladhands, and 5th wheel repair.
• Maintain a trailer inventory log noting defects, repair needs and completed repairs.
• Record-keeping of repairs and maintenance for asset lifespans and reliability.
• Capable of standing, lifting, kneeling and working on narrow surfaces up to 10 hours a day.
