Job summary

Mid-States Utility Trailer Sales is seeking a dedicated Trailer Mechanic for the Service Department. You will perform repair and preventive maintenance on trailers, and you will report to the Service Manager while adhering to safety standards and DOT specifications.

Key duties include servicing brakes, lights, tires, seals, and other components per work orders; reading and applying service bulletins, documenting inbound/outbound paperwork, and maintaining accurate reports.

Qualifications

Related experience required.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Must have valid driver’s license and be able to pass post-offer drug screen.

Responsibilities

Services and repairs brakes, lights, seals, and other trailer systems per work orders.
Repairs and replaces tires; rotate as needed.
Inspects trailers per DOT specifications.
Completes inbound/outbound paperwork and end-of-job reports.
Keeps informed on service bulletins for new products and services.
Reads and follows written instructions; prepares written reports.
On rotation Service Call schedule and maintains reliable attendance.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
